The program is delivered in both face-to-face retreats [onsite I and II, 7 full days and 6 full days respectively], with 11 monthly online learning modules to be completed by participants in their own time. During the 18-months process there are four individual supervision calls and 4 peer-supervision calls for each participant that are conducted virtually in real time.
Participant profile
This course has been designed for participants who embrace a Christian worldview and want to learn to come alongside leaders to support them through coaching. Participants are expected to complete all aspects of the course [on-site retreats, practical coaching with voluntary clients, reflective practise and supervision as well as a research project]. The focus of the program is on coaching leaders along a continuum from skills coaching to performance coaching, developmental coaching and transformational coaching. We welcome participants of all backgrounds, ages, ethnicities and genders.
Entry requirements
Participants are required to have a proficient level of English both in written and spoken English.
All applicants are expected to complete pre-course reading [Jenny Rogers’ “Coaching Skills”] and to undergo an interview with a faculty member to ensure that they fully understand the commitment required to complete this rigorous program.
Internal participants need the approval of their line manager and regional leader, external participants are welcome knowing that the majority of the participants will come from an NGO/ Third sector background.
How much does the ILCA Certificate in Leadership Coaching cost?
The International Leadership Coaching Academy is highly competitively priced at 3000 GBP during the introductory period.
Payment terms for the ILCA:
20% Deposit to secure a place [600 £GBP] (Non-refundable)
40 % payable at start of programme [1200 £GBP]
40 % payable three months after start of the program [1200 £GBP]
ILCA Terms and Conditions
The ILCA coaching program runs for 18 months. Withdrawals are permitted at any time and must be communicated to the program director via email and a follow-up call to ensure the withdrawal notice has been received and understood. No refund of fees paid will apply, however if participants choose to withdraw from the program after three months, 10% [300 £] of the tuition fees of the final payment will be refunded.
*Accommodation, food, travel and personal expenses for the onsite weeks are not included in the price of the course.

Pranesh is associated with Wits Business School and supervises their Masters students doing Business and Executive coaching research in South Africa. He is a South African national, but has lived and worked in Albania, Hungary and other parts of Europe for nearly 20 years. He is also registered as a Senior Credentialed Coach Practitioner with COMENSA, and as a Professional Certified Coach with ICF.
